My ultimate hope for this blog is to make science and graduate school more accessible for everyone.
In this blog, you will find two categories: “Microbe News,” where I summarize and discuss recent papers in microbiology in a non-jargon-y way, and “The World of Academia,” in which I share tips on graduate school applications, graduate school interviews, graduate school budgeting and resources for learning. A third category, which is in-progress, will be about my personal experience as a Ph.D. student.

In short, this is a good read for those who are interested in a digestible, up-to-date, candid relay of microbe news, or are interested in a research-based career, and/or are simply interested in following how I navigate my way through all the trials and tribulations life has to offer. Thanks for reading!
